Bringing Water to Alberta’s Farmlands

3D Animated Short Film

The Saint Mary’s Valve Replacement

In 2018 the Albertan government set out on a massive project to replace failing seventy year old valves beneath a dam that supplies essential irrigation to the entire southern Alberta agriculture industry. The replacing of the valves took years, millions of dollars, and two robot submarines.

Output Media was brought on to create a 3D animated short film to tell the story of the project and educate the public.
